Description:
The contractual object of the contract concerns the construction of a new drinking water transport pipeline from the springs of Agia Marina to the Karyoupolis distribution well on the Gytheio - Areopolis provincial road with the aim of replacing the existing transport pipeline to serve the settlements of theof Motic Units of Oitylus of Eastern Mani, Gytheio and Smynous.
The aqueduct will be supplied (like the existing one) from the Springs of Ag. Marinas, at an altitude of about 407 near Arna. The project will be constructed according to the approved Final study "MANI IRRIGATION STUDY - FINAL MEMYEARS OF THE TRANSPORTATION PIPELINE FROM THE SPRINGS OF A. MARINA TO THE KARYOUPOLIS DISTRIBUTION WELL.
The purpose of the water supply pipeline to be constructed is to transport water by gravity from the springs of Ag. Marina in areas of the Municipality of Eastern Mani, replacing the existing pipeline which currently presents several problemsa.
The length of the new pipeline is 27.9 km.
