Description:
The project concerns the Sewage Treatment Plant (WTP) of Prinos, it will serve the settlements of Kalyves (Prinos), Skala Prinos and Dasaki Prinos and is being studied in such a way as to adequately meet the requirements of Phase 1 (for a population of 5,200 in 20 years), while it becomes suitable provision of space and infrastructure ca similar expansion of the projects to meet the needs of the future Phase of the expansion of the project during Phase II (for a 40-year population of 11,500 IP).
The treatment method will be secondary, where the biological treatment will be done in treatment tanks (denitrification aeration/nitrification(i.e.), activated sludge and clarification of the treated sewage in an integrated or independent separation device, with complete removal of nitrogen and stabilization of the sludge.
