- The object of the Partnership consists in the study, financing (subject to the Financial Contribution of a Public Body), construction, maintenance, technical management and operation of Waste Transshipment and Processing (Recycling, Recovery) Infrastructures in the Region of S. Aegean for a period of up to 27 years, in order to fulfill the environmental objectives set by the national legislation and the European directives regarding the management of municipal solid waste. TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROCESSING (RECYCLING, RECOVERY) OF WASTE IN THE SOUTH AEGEAN REGION PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP (PPP) The object of the Partnership consists of the study, financing (subject to the Financial Contribution of a Public Entity), construction, maintenance, technical management and operation of Waste Transshipment and Processing (Recycling, Recovery) Infrastructures in the Aegean Region for a period of up to 27 years, with the aim of fulfilling the environmental goals set by national legislation and European directives on solid municipal waste management.
