- Upgrading the four (4) existing book sorting and packing conveyor belts within the Procuring Authority's warehouse to improve speed, sorting accuracy and operational efficiency to be able to support the increased packaging needs that will arise with the implementation of the multiple book institution. A turnkey technical solution is required, fully compatible with the existing conveyors. Specifically the upgrade for each of the four conveyor belts includes the supply/construction, installation, interconnection, configuration/programming and commissioning of the following subsystems: (a) Doubling operating speed, (b) Two-stage product separation accelerator (dual separation accelerator), (c) QR Scanner camera system for identification and traceability, (d)Darb Sorter for automatic routing of products, (e) ARB (Activated Roller Belt) systems for directed movement of products, (f) Transport crawler with multi-directional balls (Ball Belt Conveyor) to optimize the process of sorting, diverting or accumulating bundles of books and individual pieces at the end of the conveyor belt, (g) Interface with the software of the installed WMS, (h) PLC for central total system control, (i) Other equipment (electrical, safety, etc.).
