- Contract for the preparation of a study of land improvement works in an area of about 260,000 sq.m., which includes areas of the Municipalities of Veria, Alexandria and Pydna-Kolindros, which are located on the right bank of the Aliakmons.
The hydraulic scope of the contract includes the preparation of studies tof the irrigation networks, the drainage networks, as well as the rural road networks, of the entire study area. The studies will be prepared in stages of Preliminary Study and Final Study, taking into account the Identification study entitled: "Identification study of Vergina Land Improvement Projects Aeginius". The scope of these studies includes the studies of irrigation network supply works, the technical works (pumping stations, etc.) that will be required for the correct hydraulic operation of the networks and the optimization studies, including safety control(water hammer) of irrigation networks and pumping stations.
The irrigation and drainage networks to be studied will be designed based on the proposals of the Agricultural Technical Study, which will be prepared within the framework of this contract.
