Description: The purpose of the contract is to study, manufacture, supply and commission fifteen (15) new trains, of which six (6) for the needs of the Basic Metro Project of Thessaloniki and Nine (9) for the needs of its expansion to Kalamaria. The trains will automatically operate without a Grade-Of-Automation 4 GOA4, according to IEC 62290-1. The trains will be naturally and functionally compatible with the existing Thessaloniki Metro System, with the main work, expansion to Kalamaria, The Pylaia Bar with the existing rolling stock maintenance equipment as well as the existing rolling stock.
