Description:
The object of the contract is the SUPPLY OF FOOD TYPES FOR THE OPERATION OF BUILDINGS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CHIOS.
The items to be procured are classified as follows codes of the Common Public Procurement Vocabulary (CPV): 15000000-8, 15411110-6, 15810000-9, 15119000-5, 15112130-6, 03221200-8, 03220000-9, 03311000-2, 41110000-3 and 15511000-3.
The estimated total cost of the contract for the procurement was budgeted at €738,174.84, not including of VAT and €804,838.28 including VAT. 9% & 17% (as long as the specific VAT rates will still apply on the islands of Northeast Aegean), and will be borne by the budget of the Municipality of Chios.
There is a possibility to extend the validity period of the contract up to six (6) months, in order to meet the current needs of the Municipality, without modification of the contract value. The above extension is activated by a unilateral act of the Contracting Authority, depending on its needs. The above condition will only apply if at that time there is no excess of the quantities per item or the budgeted expenditure per group.
