- The object of the contract is the implementation of Work Package 6 (Pilot applications enabling the 'greening' of selected digital transformation initiatives and ASSESSMENT OF THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINTinitiatives and assessment of their environmental footprint), of the GO_GREEN project which includes the development of pilot actions with the aim of presenting how digital infrastructures can become greener. Specifically, the project develops a green pilot data center that parabrings energy benefits and recycles the thermal energy produced, through digital pilot applications of energy efficiency benefits.
The installation sites of the green computing power centers concern:
- in the Student Residence Building of the University of Western Macedonia in Koila Kozanis and
-in the Grevena Hospital Building.
