- Description:
- The object of the contract is the preparation of a study of a complete and modern land improvement project, for the utilization of the agricultural lands of Ormylia in southern Halkidiki in a net area of 24,000 hectares and a gross irrigable area of approximately 26,600 hectares. The land improvement project includesi.e., irrigation, drainage and agricultural road network. In addition, the proposed and existing projects will ensure the flood protection of the areas downstream of the Havria Dam. Most of the necessary water for the irrigation of the Ormylia plain with the mstudy networks, it is planned to be provided by the reservoir of the Havria dam to be built, while the rest of the water will be provided by the operation of some existing wells.
