- The subject of the Study concerns the design of a network of flood risk minimization projects (retention dams) in the streams of the burned area of the wider area of Vilia. The study is necessary to minimize the flood risk that the area is experiencing, taking into account the conditions as they developed after the devastating fires in the area of Vilia - Megara in August 2021.
The fire lasted for more than four days and burned an area amounting to 99,800 acres.
