The study concerns the flood protection of the Municipality of Athens, through the adequacy control of the existing network, the extension of the rainwater network on roads where there is no existence, the creation of rainstorming tanks, with circular rainwater management, with the aim of increasing the time.of rainbows within the urban tissue and the utilization of rainwater within the municipality, while investigating the necessary transformations for rainwater management through blue infrastructure, circularly, within the city

Object of this Agreement is the preparation of the required studies for flood protection and protection of the Municipality of Athens. In summary, these studies relate to the drainage of 1,900 HA (hectares) of the municipality, its adequacy checkExisting rainwater drainage network, in the resolution of already registered flooding problems of the Municipality, where possible, and in the investigation-implementation of tanks to intercept- collecting tanks for reuse by circular management.
