Description:
The object of the contract is the renovation of 2 traction substations of line 1 with the simultaneous installation of an energy recovery system from the electric braking of the trains in accordance with the provisions of the procedure for concluding this contract. Briefly, the object includes the following:
A) Renovation of part of the electrical equipment of the two old traction substations, Heraklion and Faliro, with the simultaneous relocation of the Faliro substation to a new building, in accordance with the terms of all the contractual documents.
B) Installation of a traction system - energy recovery from theelectric braking during the deceleration of the trains so that the energy that is not consumed by the neighboring accelerating trains of the line 1 network returns to the DEDDIE network, offset against the consumed energy of the substation instead of being consumed in the resistanceswelding of the trains as thermal energy, according to the terms of all the contractual documents and corresponding training of the staff.
C) Supply of Spare Parts, in accordance with the terms of article 17 "6. ADDITIONAL SPECIAL TERMS OF CONTRACT".
