• Description:
• The object of the contract is the provision of additional services for the collection of municipal waste (MSW) of the Municipality of Skiathos and the provision of basic cleaning services. At the same time, it concerns washing operations of the Temporary Storage Means (SMS) of of mixed and/or recyclable solid waste as well as street cleaning and sweeping services mainly of busy tourist spots but also services of general beautification and cleaning of areas with squares, meeting points, etc. of all the areas of the municipality. (Appendix I) More specifically, the services include: 1.Collection of mixed solid waste from bins and other means of collection within the entire territory of the Municipality. 2. Collection of recyclable materials (paper, plastic, metal, glass). 3. Transportation of the collected waste to a legally licensed point/transfer station/landfill. 4. Serving special areas (port, coastal zone, pedestrian streets, tourist areas, etc.). 5. Management of increased loads during the summer season.
