Announcement of open tender for the supply & installation: • Surveillance Systems (TAR) for Air Traffic Management a. in the Terminal Areas of the International Airports of Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes and Corfu b. in the Terminal Area of Andravida Airport and • Long-Range Surveillance Systems for the management of En-route Air Traffic, at the locations of Menetes Karpathos, Attavyros Rhodes and Vigla Limnos SECTION 1 ISSUE 1 : Describes TYPE 1 systems (TAR Airports of Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes and Corfu) and the systems of TYPE 2 (ENROUTE RADAR Karpathos & Attavyros Rhodes). It also describes the accompanying building and IT works which should meet the EMS specifications (EUROCONTROL-SPEC-189, Edition 4.0) and in particular paragraphs 7.4 to 7.12. ISSUE 1 of the Technical Specifications concerning TYPE 1 systems [Co-installed Surveillance System -PSR S BAND/MSSR MODE S EHS + ADS-B- for the management of of Air Traffic in Terminal Areas (TAR) (of Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes & Corfu Airports) and the TYPE 2 systems [Surveillance System (MSSR EHS MODE S + ADS-B) for the management of En-route Air Traffic in places Menetes Karpathos and Attavyros Rhodes].
