- The scope of the Study concerns the study of projects in order to ensure the safe channeling of flood supplies of rainwater of the entire basin of Sarandapotamos downstream, taking into account the existing projects. The study refers to Sarantapotamos r. for the part within the prefecture of Attica, andcontributing water streams such as Agios Vlassis, and Mikros and Megalos Katerini which are located upstream of the city of Elefsina. The projects to be proposed relate in particular to projects to stop the flow and solid transport (reduction of transported materials), arrangement of bed and slopes with uninvested or investdymeni cross-section, forestry works in the mountain basins inside or outside the stream bed. The study will also include stream delineations, especially in sections close to anthropogenic activities (populated areas, cultivated lands, commercial/industrial activities).
The study exof Hydraulics also includes the necessary supporting studies, i.e. Topographical, Geological/Hydrogeological, Geotechnical, as well as study of Forestry Projects, Environmental Impact Study of all the projects, Static study, and E/M study of projects in retention projects (dam, reservoir) .
