Description:
The subject of the contract is the introduction of a standard sustainable development model to 4 pilot destinations, which will be adapted to the particularities of destinations one encounters in Greece, such as island, mountainous, semi -mountainous and city / coastal destination.
Purpose of the model modelIt is to create a set of sustainable development activities and specifications by destination category which can then be applied to other destinations in the country.
The model of the destination model will be based on its compliance with the regulatory framework,But also with international standards, especially those related to sustainability and accessibility. The compliance plan will also result from the special characteristics of each destination and will include an action plan, defining the steps to be followed for thePreparation and certification, as well as digital communication/promotion/promotion actions, digital/smart applications for visitor information and enhancement, as well as mild sustainable interventions aimed at improving destination management.The largest international competition requires the model to have international recognition and will therefore utilize best practices and international standards for sustainable development and accessibility, with emphasis on the international character of standards adopted.
