The project concerns the construction of the New Archaeological Museum of Sparta, the assignment of which will be carried out in accordance with Law 4412/2016 as amended and in force
The New Archaeological Museum of Sparta
The New Archaeological Museum of Sparta is located on the property of the Ministry of Education.Ios "JYMOFIX" in Sparta and specifically in OT. 189a. The museum shell includes all the uses necessary for the operation of the Museum, as described in the approved building program.
The natural object of the project (phase A) of the construction of 'NEW ARCHAEOLOGICAL MOUSEOverall as a whole, it concerns both the restoration of the preserved monument of the former" HYMOFIX "factory, with the upgrading of its existing structural system, its energy upgrading, to ensure accessibility to the disabled, as well as to expand with the additionbuilding.
The total area of the museum, including underground and semi -open spaces, is approximately 10,000 sqm. The project includes the implementation of construction work and electromechanical installations to produce a functional building.A is crucial to the creation of a contemporary, functional, energy -efficient and fully accessible museum that will participate in the social life of the city and will be worthy of its long history and its important cultural identity.
