Description:
The General Secretariat for Natural Environment and Water/General Directorate of Water is responsible for the implementation of the framework directive on maritime strategy (Directive 2008/56/EC). Under this Convention, the 2nd update of the measures program aimed at achievement will be drawn up or maintaining the good environmental status of the country's marine waters. In addition, for the four selected bays, Corinthian, Thermaic, Saronic and Pagasitic, a detailed evaluation, review and update of the measures will be developed, adapted to more specific Needs and requirements of the marine ecosystem of the above areas.
Marine Strategy Actions: Update-Refund of Measure Programs
Object of the 2nd update of the measures program, in accordance with the specifications of Directive 2008/56/EC, pursuant to Law 3983/2011, As amended and in force is:
Τας Drawing methodologies for 1) the evaluation of the effectiveness of the measures, 2) the analysis of divergences 3) the cost-benefit analysis.
Evaluation of the application and effectiveness of the existing measures program in conjunction with the state of the Marine waters as reflected in the applicable revision report of good environmental status in marine waters.
Τας Compilating a list of involved/stakeholders and recording of needs/requirements as well as recording existing measures.
