- Within the framework of the proposed Public-Private Partnership, the Private Partnership Entity (PPP) will carry out the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the projects that are its subject. In summary, the IFS will undertake:
[1] the preparation of studies that are necessaryfor the construction of the project, based on the studies made available by the contracting authority and the provisions of the Decision on Approval of Environmental Conditions,
[2] the construction of the Project,
[3] the financing of the Project (in combination with the financial contribution of the State ), as will arise based on finalityplanning,
[4] the operation and maintenance of the Project,
[5] the return of the Project to the Greek State in accordance with the provisions of the partnership agreement at the end of the contractual period, in exchange for the payment of availability fees during the period of operation of the Project.
