Description:
The Call for Expressions of Interest to join the partnership is intended to specify the conditions under which the AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS SMALL LOAN FUND (hereinafter Fund) managed by the Hellenic Development Bank SA (hereinafter EAT) will be implemented for the granting of small loansfinanced investment loans with an additional interest rate subsidy and with the possibility of consulting and technical support, which will be granted to small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises and to enterprises processing agricultural products with a final product within Annex I of SLEE. Businesses will be able to use part of the loan amount as working capital as part of their investment plan.
The Fund's budget for the co-financing of the loans, the payment of the subsidized interest, and the provision of consultancy and technical supportsupport amounts to twenty million six hundred and forty thousand euros (€20,640,000) and comes entirely from the Recovery Facility of the European Union. The co-financed loans will be granted through selected Intermediary Financial Institutions (IFIs), whose selection will bei following a call for expressions of interest, observing open, transparent and non-discriminatory procedures. Each EXO will create a separate portfolio of the above loans, and the leverage that will come from them in relation to the contribution of the Fund will be 50%-50%.
