- It is a construction project of an open-type installation of aerobic biodegradation of organic waste (composting) in its simplest form with stirring with a mobile agitator, it is of low investment and operating cost that can achieve excellent results for the benefit of agriculture andand reducing the landfilling of biodegradable waste. The proposed Municipal Composting Facility or Bio-Waste Processing Unit (WWTP), aims to change the island's waste management model for the protection of the environment and the implementation of an integratedsolid waste management system in accordance with the objectives of the PESDA of the North Aegean Region and the ESDA.
The proposed MEBA will consist of the following areas:
(A) ENTRY-CONTROL Area of incoming raw materials,
(B) RECEIPT Area AND HOMOGENIZATION,
