Description:
Tenders are invited for Innovation Consultant(S) to Co-Design and Implement Innovation Sprints (or Similar) in Greece and West Africa, with the Aim of Exploring and Improving Our Work Related to Empowerment and Inclusion of Local and National Institutions in Humanitarian Aid. The consultant(s) will be responsible for designing and implementing innovation sprints (or similar methodologies) in two locations: Athens (Greece) and a country in West Africa (TBD). The consultant(s) will plan and conduct the innovation processes closely with NORCAP staff working with inclusion and empowerment. Duration: Early September to end of November 2022 Duty Station: Homebased with travels to Greece and West Africa Budget: 350.000 NOK (excl. VAT) Reports to: Director, Humanitarian Response and Resilience Section, NORCAP Experience and qualifications required · Demonstrated experience in design thinking, innovation sprints or similar innovation methodologies · Demonstrated experience in innovation processes dealing with complex social/political/cultural problems or challenges · Competence in cross-cultural communication and understanding · Fluency in written and spoken English, French is desirable · Knowledge of the humanitarian and development aid sectors and understanding of the unique political challenges involved is desired
