Description:
In the context of the Project, innovative methods of environmental remediation are adopted using photocatalysis (catalysis under the influence of light), which combines the advantage of low energy requirements and high efficiency. The pilot intervention concerns the fight againstof gaseous pollutants through nanoparticles, is applied in schools of the Municipality of Tanagra and, in particular, in the area of Oinophyta - Schimatari - Oinois.
The innovative technology concerns the fight against outdoor / indoor pollutants using visible radiation (diffuse daylight or artificial night lighttas) and can effectively manage the air quality in every indoor and outdoor area
In order to deal with the fight against air pollution, pilots are applied to the external facades and classrooms of the school buildings of the Municipality of Tanagra which are adjacent to PATHE and to then strong and extensive production base of the region, innovative primary photo-catalytic technology
