• The purpose of the study is to fully deal with the problem of floods and disasters which are observed every year in the wider area of ​​the coastal front of Messagalon and Kastri Loutro. The individual studies that will be prepared are the following: 1. Topography Study 2. Geotechnical Study 3. Port Works Study 4. Hydraulic Works Study 5. E/M Facilities Study 6. Environmental Study. The cost of the total budgeted expenditure, which will be required to prepare the necessary studies justified by the following reasons: • The protection of properties, houses, shops and streets, especially in the southern part of the settlement of Messagala, which are at risk from frequent floods •The greatest development of the local economy with the strengthening of tourism due to the significant improvement of the touristic image of the region among Greek and foreign visitors HYDRAULIC STUDY AND FLOOD PROTECTION WORKS IN THE COASTAL AREA DUE TO FLOODING The purpose of the study is to fully address it problem of floods and disasters which are observed every year in the wider area of ​​the coastal front of Messagalon and Kastri Loutro.
