Description:
The main works for the construction of the project include the following:
- excavations in earthy-semi-rocky and rocky soil, at various depths
according to the plans of the Hydraulic Study,
- cleaning the bed of p. Aliakmons from transported materials and vegetation,
- sectional investment of the main and parts of the flood bed (slope), with Reno-type beds and wire boxes reinforced with an external coating of PVC,
- construction of new anti-flood dikes, with earthworks and shielding with wire boxes,
- construction of five (5) transverse techniques on the dikes, for the safe operationfor the drainage of the area outside the embankments,
- construction of six (6) access projects to the embankments and to the flood bed of P. Aliakmons, for the maintenance and inspection of the project after the end of the construction,
- reconstruction of the existing irrigation channel,- restoration workof the environment (planting trees and shrubs),
