Description:
The implementation of the project concerns the creation of three metropolitan quantum infrastructure networks in Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion of Crete, which will be connected to three optical ground stations in Helmos, Holomontas and Skinakas. These network infrastructures will utilize, among other things, quantum t devicestechnology (QKD), terrestrial optical fibers, but also satellite technologies.
The subject of this tender is services to be provided under an IRU (Indefeasible Right of Use) contract that include: a) the services of implementing optical fiber links for the creation of the terrestrial opticnetwork of the national quantum infrastructure network HellasQCI (during the first 6 months of the project), b) the granting of the right to use the above fiber optic links for fifteen (15) years as well as c) the maintenance services of the above fiber optic links for fifteen (15) years.
