- Description :
- The object of the project is the construction of the section of the Ionian Road from its junction with the Egnatia Road to Kakavia and the Greek-Albanian border. The project includes two subsections:
- Subsection 1: Ioannina Kalpaki. With the beginning of the end of the concession contract (X.Th. 4 800) and after the endof AK Kalpaki (C.Th. 51 237.37) and a total length of 46.4 km of new alignment. The subdivision includes six (6) Uneven Junctions, of which AK K3 Passaronos (P.T. 21 940 - P.T. 23 441) is Option 1, 1.47 km long.
- Subsection 2: Kalpaki Kakavia. Beginning with the end of AK Kalpakith (C.Th. 51 237.37) and beyond the Kakavia border station (C.Th. 74 349.66) and a total length of 23.11 km, it is planned to upgrade the existing road, which constitutes Option 2.
