- The object of the project entitled Extension and Upgrading of the Automated Fingerprint Identification and Identification System (AFIS) is the upgrading of the capabilities of the National AFIS (Automated Identification and Identification System) and its extension to enhance of the cooperation of the Criminal Investigations Division with the (pre) investigative authorities nationally, but also of the Greek Police with other law enforcement authorities and judicial authorities at national, European and international level.
