- The purpose of a modern fire protection plan is the targeted analysis of the problem of forest fires in a specific area and then the planning of appropriate actions, actions and projects that will lead (immediately as well as in the medium term) to better forest protectionof lands in general, and consequently in the shielding from the risk of fire of the settlements, buildings, industrial and other
facilities and the agricultural holdings located within or near them.
In the context of such a plan should:
- Be recorded the fire historycays, as well as the existing fire protection infrastructures.
-To assess with appropriate criteria the risk of fires and the temporal and spatial determination of the individual areas with the highest risk.
-To be proposed hierarchically (in cooperation with all involved bodies) ta projects, the actions and the collective actions that should be implemented in each individual area.
The drawing up of the fire protection plan includes three (3) Stages:
Stage 1 = Preliminary Study, Stage 2 = Consultation, Stage 3 = Final Study
The duration of which is described asas follows:
Stage 1= 3 months
Stage 2= 1 month
Stage 3= 2 months
The duration of each Stage is described in the "Writing of Obligations" drawn up by the "employer" and is part of the "Tender Documents" of each announcement.
