- The project concerns the construction of an external water supply network for the Communities of Lydia, Krinides, Philippi, Kryonerio, Polystylos, Amygdaleonas and Zygos of D.E. Philippon of the Municipality of Kavala from the sources of Voirani.
It includes the construction of a water supply network with a total length of 26,000 meters and in more detail:
β’ length of 10,010 meters of PE 100 polyethylene pipelines with a solid wall and diameters from DN110 DN315 mm;
β’ length of 15,990 meters of malleable cast iron pipelines with diameters DN125 - DN 300, class C40.
The construction of three (3) pumping stations in places near Kentriko evacueesy Water Supply Pipeline (K.A.Y.) that connects the sources of Voirani with the Central Water Supply Pumping Station D.E. Kavala in Amisiana. Will be constructed:
β’ the A.Y.1 near the well Ξ¦14 for the water supply of the area of ββthe Krinido Clay Spa and the Community of Lydia;
β’ the A.Y.2 near the well Ξ¦23 for the water supply of the communities of Krinido, Philippi, Krioneri and the high zone of Zygos;
β’ the A.Y.3 near the well Ξ¦32 of the K.A.Y., for the water supply of the settlements of Zygos, Neo Zygos (Refugees) , Polystylou, Dato, Mikrochorio, Amygdaleona and Stavrou.
Also, two (2) intermediate pumping stations, in suitable positions on the roads to the settlements of Philippi and Krionerio.
A total of 17 new pumping stations, functional and spare, will be installed.
