  • The Attica Region manages a highly complex portfolio of projects of different maturity, from different sources of funding and which are auctioned and executed by both the Attica Region and other bodies.
    Their geographical dispersion throughout the region, as well as the large number of beneficiaries - and therefore different approaches to project management (methodology and tools used) - are significant challenges in project monitoring. Project typology, different sources of funding (with different management and monitoring requirements), as well as the existence of multiple supporting information systems (IIS, PSEs, Beneficiaries, etc.) for the registration of information, are additional challenges to the Monitoring of the projects.
    Project monitoring, which will ensure continuous and valid information, both internally, in the region, as well as to the citizens and the Businesses. The new project monitoring mechanism is called upon to meet a series of needs of the Attica Region, such as:
