The Project to be studied will be executed within the administrative boundaries of the Municipalities of Haidari and Aspropyrgos of N. Attica. The projects to be studied and built are:
(a) Completion of the Western Regional Avenue of Aegaleo (D.P.L.A.) in the last part of its length of 1.515 km (where only earthworks have been carried out but not yet completed) up to E.O. Athens - Corinth.
(b) The construction of the Uneven Skaramanga Intersection for the connection of the Western Regional Egaleo with the E.O. Athens - Corinth.
(c) The upgrade of the existing Schistos Uneven Junction, utilizing the existing two-legged bridge (which will be reconstructed with the activation of Option 2) for the service of Schistos - Corinth traffic with two traffic lanes and construction of a second Ano Diavasi bridge over E.O. Athens - Corinth (one lane) for Athens - Schistos traffic. In the context of the construction of the above projects, an upgrade of the E.O. Athens of Corinth between the uneven Skaramanga semi-interchange and the uneven Schistos interchange with an increase and reconfiguration of its traffic lanes.
(d) The construction of the Uneven Shipyard Junction on Schistos Avenue, upstream of the Skaramangas Shipyards, which replaces the level signalized junction at the intersection of Schistos Avenue and Palaska as well as the completion of the required traffic regulations in the area's road network.
