Description:
The subject of this Convention is to clean streams that fall under the spatial jurisdiction of the IP. Islands of the Attica Region.
Nuts: EL307
The streams to be cleaned are open and closed (arranged). The intervention positions will be determined on the spot by the Directorate of Technical Works. Islands of the Attica Region. In addition to the streams referred to in Annex I herein, it is possible to intervene in other streams that fall within the jurisdiction of the Regional Unit of Islands upon the order of the Service. When performing the project it is mandatory to take Photographs in the positions of streams, before and after intervention.
The tasks to be done to clean the streams are as follows:
1.Anculting from the riverbed and the slopes of the streams of materials, waste, bazales or native vegetation.
2.caping and removing unhealthy Trees, where necessary, after a license from the Forestry Office, which are on the slopes and the riverbed of the streams. The trees must be cut in such a way that the slopes and riverbeds are not disturbed. To this end, the trees will be cut at a height of 0.40m from the natural Soil and the trunk will be removed, and the root will remain in place so as not to disturb the cohesion of the soil. The cutting height of the trees is independent of the perimeter of their trunk.
