Digital Transformation Actions in the Municipality of Platanias Section 1: Supply and installation of smart and disabled-friendly pedestrian crossings, in eight (8) crossings of the Municipality of Platanias Supply and installation of smart pedestrian crossings and disabled friendly, in eight (8) readings by D. Platanias. The proposed system will ensure the safe passage of pedestrians and the disabled. through the automatic recognition of the presence of pedestrians and automatic light marking of the crossing where this is possible. The crossing should it works intelligently to warn pedestrians and drivers only when there is actually a pedestrian crossing intention. Also, the system, in addition to being used in the field of road safety, will also collect data in real time, such as traffic, environmental etc. Section 2: Supply and installation of a system of smart waste bins and their interconnection with the existing telematics system of the Municipality of Platanias Supply and installation of a system of smart waste bins and their interfacing with the existing telematics system of D. Platanias. The purpose of this supply is the further development of the telematics system that has been installed in the fleet of the Municipality of Platanias.
