Reference Number: 2022 / s 073-196374 CONTRACT TYPE: SERVICES Description: The contest concerns the "aesthetic unification and functional upgrading of existing pavements in the neighborhood Plaka - Monastiraki". The Municipality of Athens in a wider framework of dynamic and integrated upgrading and redesigning of public domain in the historical and commercial center intends through this competition to contribute to the urban rejuvenation of the Plaka - Monastiraki market.
The subject of the competition is to upgrade from a functional, aesthetic and technical view of the area of intervention. Of Pandrosos Street, from the Metropolis to Monastiraki Square, and the Network of Public Spaces west of Monastiraki Square. The network is constituted by the pedestrian and Hadrian's pedestrian streets with the smallest connections as well as the abissboard and Saint Philip squares.
