Description:
The object of the contract is the implementation of actions to support the implementation of the joint Master's Degree Program between Yale University and National & Kapodistrian University of Athens on Global Environmental Sciences and Public Health (GESPH) - joint P.M.S. between Yale University and of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Environmental Sciences and Global Public Health.
Global Environmental Sciences and Public Health is on the one hand the promotion of scientific knowledge and the application of new knowledge and technology to the new conditions and challenges of managing the climate crisis, pandemics, chemical pollution and the energy crisis in the 21st century, on the one hand the specialization of young scientists with an emphasis on the environment and public health and the ways that these fields interact, complement and overlap. In addition, the training of executives and public officials, capable of dealing with climate change and natural disaster management problems, pollution crises, epidemics and public health, and how these factors interact, in general, and to contribute to the economic and social development of the country as well as to the international economic environment, is an ultimate goal of the P.M.S.
